Hack Green: Fake Loggers Cut Down Rainforest

I found this interesting because I don't come across too many articles where the environment was being destroyed as a direct result of technology exploits. It begs a greater question that I reported on earlier:

As technology pervades the globe, particularly web or networked-technology, who will ultimately sit at the table in making decisions about the environment? The elite who control the technology? Government? Interest groups? Non-profits? Individuals?!
